Digital Business Analyst Internship

About the role

Cargills is looking for a motivated intern to support its Digital Business Analyst team. You will work on real projects that help shape the future of the company's digital processes across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate business user requirements, assess current state and define future state.
• Design and iterate new business processes using Microsoft Visio and create architecture maps.
• Develop user journeys and mockups to visualise solutions.
• Define project scope, prepare plans and manage delivery through completion.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and produce regular documentation and reports.
• Lead daily stand‑up calls with the development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Track and report KPIs to key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to retire legacy technologies and migrate to modern solutions such as RPA and AI.
• Support User Acceptance Testing by developing test scenarios and facilitating execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Business Process Management, Business Data Analytics, IT or a related field.
• Passion for contributing positively to Sri Lanka.
• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to perform process mapping, user‑journey mapping and solution documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Sinhala.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional agile teams in remote and on‑site settings.
• Highly punctual, organised and able to multitask.
