Deputy Center Manager

About the role

The Deputy Center Manager will support the overall operations, student recruitment and business development of our Batticaloa centre. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the Center Manager to achieve enrollment targets, implement marketing initiatives and maintain strong relationships with students and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in achieving monthly and annual student enrollment targets.
• Implement and monitor marketing and promotional campaigns to attract prospective students.
• Coordinate educational events, seminars, school visits and other recruitment activities.
• Maintain day‑to‑day centre operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes.
• Prepare performance, sales and enrollment reports for senior management.
• Develop and nurture relationships with schools, educational institutions and corporate partners.
• Support the Center Manager in staff supervision, motivation and development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or centre operations, preferably in the education sector.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving student enrollments.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Tamil; knowledge of Sinhala is an advantage.
• Residence in or around Batticaloa is strongly preferred.
