Data QA Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data QA Lead to lead quality assurance activities across data projects and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data throughout the data lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for data projects and enhancements.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
• Perform both manual and automation testing of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems using strong SQL skills.
• Identify defects, conduct root‑cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Drive test automation and continuous quality improvements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Strong experience in manual and automation testing, test case and test plan creation, and defect management.
• Proven experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
• Experience working with data engineering teams on data projects.

Required skills

• Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• SQL for data validation.
• Hands‑on exposure to Snowflake, Azure Data Services, Apache Spark, Power BI, and ETL/ELT tools.
