Data Engineer – Design and Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. The role works closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data availability, quality, and performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements.
• Utilize strong SQL and Python skills to implement efficient data pipelines and transformations within the data warehouse.
• Develop cloud‑based ELT/ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Support the BI team with new data requests.
• Monitor data warehouse automation processes to ensure data availability before UK business hours.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms for ELT/ETL (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
