Data Engineer – Data Warehouse & ETL

About the role

Superloop is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join its Data and Analytics team. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company’s data warehouse, building robust ETL pipelines and integrating new data sources to support analytics across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for the central data warehouse.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation and ensure data quality for reporting.
• Monitor and optimise warehouse performance, addressing bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with analysts and system developers to translate data requirements into efficient warehouse solutions.
• Implement data security, governance and compliance measures, including encryption and access controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer with a focus on data warehousing and ETL.
• Experience handling large volumes of data and complex data models, preferably in the telecom industry.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teams.

• SQL for data querying, manipulation and optimisation.
• Python for scripting and automation of data processes.
• Data Lakehouse technologies and platforms.
• Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Data orchestration tools and concepts.
