Cyber Security Manager - SOC

About the role

EY is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to lead its Security Operations Centre (SOC) within the Threat Detection & Response team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end incident investigation, ensuring client SLAs are met and delivering high‑quality security monitoring across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee detection, reporting and response processes for security incidents.
• Manage and maintain SOC security tools (SIEM, EDR, NSM) to ensure optimal configuration and threat detection.
• Lead the SOC team, define and track Service Level Agreements for all clients.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and revise standard operating procedures as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to security monitoring and automation of daily SOC tasks.
• Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences, including executives.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience operating SOC environments.
• B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent technical degree.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to client time zones.
• Customer‑service orientation and strong presentation skills.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk.
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools: Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike.
• Network monitoring solutions: Fidelis, ExtraHop, Darktrace.
• Threat intelligence and cyber incident response expertise.
• Knowledge of cloud security and IoT/OT environments (value‑add).
