Customer Buyer – Supply Chain & Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Buyer to support our electronic solutions business by managing material costs, sourcing suppliers and optimizing the supply chain for customer programs. The role combines project‑based sourcing, cost control and supplier management in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate material costs, select suppliers and design optimal supply chains for assigned customer projects.
• Deliver benchmark costs, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and monitor cost development through preferred suppliers.
• Advise customers on sourcing strategies, manage all assigned materials (including after‑sales) and ensure competitive pricing.
• Negotiate with preferred and secondary suppliers, expand the supplier network and coordinate new supplier qualifications with QA and Global Procurement.
• Maintain SAP master data for critical components and reassign items to Factory Procurement when criticality decreases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
• 3‑4 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word; experience with MS 365, Advanced Excel and ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a plus.
