About the role
We are looking for a Culinary Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer to plan and deliver high‑quality lessons and teach practical cookery skills. The role involves assessing student performance and keeping lessons aligned with current culinary trends.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons.
- Teach practical cookery skills and techniques in line with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and industry standards to incorporate into lessons.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Prior experience in teaching or working within the culinary industry.
- Certificate IV TAE40122 preferred.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of culinary theory, including hygiene, safety, and nutrition.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
