Corporate Sales Manager

About the role

World Travel Island Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to lead the acquisition and growth of corporate travel accounts across key industry sectors. The role is based on‑site in Sri Lanka and focuses on delivering tailored travel solutions to corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new corporate travel accounts.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with corporate clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic business development.
• Prepare customised travel proposals, quotations and solutions.
• Manage corporate tenders, RFPs, contract negotiations and account renewals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events and industry forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel sales or corporate account management.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and an established network of corporate decision‑makers.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing and GDS systems.
• Experience in MICE sales; IATA/UFTAA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

Required skills

• Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre GDS platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using CRM systems.
