Content Writer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Content Writer to shape and maintain Pepper St’s brand voice across all digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Executive to craft compelling stories that resonate with our fashion‑forward audience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate fresh ideas for stories and ongoing content series.
• Maintain and grow our LinkedIn presence.
• Write engaging, on‑brand blog articles.
• Craft captivating captions and copy with excellent command of English.
• Drive interactive conversations on Instagram broadcast channels.
• Respond to comments across platforms promptly and in line with brand tone.
• Ensure consistent brand tone and image in every customer interaction.
• Assist the Senior Marketing Executive with day‑to‑day marketing and content tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or social media content.
• Exceptional written English skills.
• Basic working knowledge of Sinhala (spoken or written).
• Genuine interest in fashion, streetwear, and youth culture.
• Strong creative instincts and ability to generate independent story ideas.
• Comfortable managing multiple platforms and staying responsive.
• Portfolio or writing samples (blogs, captions, social content) required.

Required skills

• English writing proficiency.
• Basic Sinhala language ability.
