Content Writer & Editor

About the role

TransMedia Inc. is looking for a Content Writer & Editor to craft landing pages and articles that attract millions of users to its suite of web tools. You will be responsible for both creating original copy and ensuring the quality of freelance contributions.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update landing pages for ProPDF, ClipSnap, and FreeConvert using SEO briefs and product vision documents.
• Produce supplemental blog articles, how‑to guides, and workflow pieces that support each tool.
• Edit drafts from freelance writers, making them publish‑ready while preserving the original voice.
• Verify every product claim against the shipped tool and product documentation; flag any discrepancies.
• Maintain the style guide, reading level, tone, and prohibited phrases.
• Run editorial checklists for each page type and continuously improve them.
• Manage the content queue: assign tasks, set deadlines, and provide feedback to freelancers.
• Refresh existing pages when tools change, performance drops, or competitors advance.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional content writing experience, preferably with editing responsibilities.
• Strong command of written English—clear, precise, and ready for publication.
• Excellent judgment to spot inaccurate or AI‑generated content.
• Ability to improve others’ drafts without imposing your own voice.
• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for drafting and research while ensuring factual accuracy.
