Contact Center Associate

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Contact Center Associate to join our bank’s customer service team. In this role you will manage inbound and outbound calls, provide accurate information about our products and services, and ensure each interaction is handled with professionalism and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place inbound/outbound calls, maintaining high attention to detail.
• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently, applying problem‑solving skills and a people‑first mindset.
• Educate callers on the bank’s full suite of products and services.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts.
• Maintain punctuality, reliability and consistent attendance to support team coordination.
• Follow compliance standards and established procedures at all times.

Required profile

• G.C.E. O/L, Edexcel or Cambridge O/L qualification with at least a “C” in Mathematics and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Sinhala and English (Tamil is a plus).
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service, call centre or tele‑marketing/sales.
• Strong ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
