Consumer Growth Operations Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading global consumer technology platform, is looking for a Consumer Growth Operations Specialist to lead brand‑building and growth initiatives in Sri Lanka. The role combines brand strategy, go‑to‑market planning, social media marketing, on‑ground activations, geographic expansion and performance measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local brand campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships, seasonal initiatives and always‑on marketing activities, adapting global strategies to the Sri Lankan market.
• Plan and execute BTL campaigns, city launches, sampling, sponsorships and community activations to drive consumer awareness across Colombo suburbs and new cities.
• Collaborate with expansion, merchant, operations and strategy teams, using performance data to evaluate impact and set investment priorities.
• Manage vendors, agencies and suppliers, handling negotiations, purchase orders, invoices, budgets and forecasts while ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Monitor channel and geographic performance through dashboards and reports, providing data‑backed recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and budget allocation.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in brand marketing, BTL/trade marketing, growth marketing or a related area.
• Hands‑on experience with on‑ground activations, launches, sponsorships, sampling or community marketing.
• Strong knowledge of social media, content strategy, influencer marketing, community management and performance measurement.
• Proven ability to use data to assess channel performance and make budget decisions.
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, project management and budget management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take full ownership of deliverables.
• High level of integrity and transparency in financial and vendor management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
