Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

The Construction Project Coordinator will work full‑time on‑site in Moratuwa, supporting the planning and execution of construction projects. The role bridges project managers, site teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure schedules, resources and documentation are aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, tracking progress against timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate schedules, resources and documentation between all stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate records of contracts, drawings and approvals.
• Support site meetings, follow up on action items and resolve coordination issues.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Flag risks to management and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in construction site coordination or project support.
• Strong project coordination, budgeting and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail, high level of organization and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
