Conference Producer – International Events

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Conference Producer to join our Colombo office and help shape world‑class international conferences. You will work closely with senior executives, industry experts and internal teams to validate topics, secure high‑profile speakers and deliver successful events worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and validate conference topics with industry professionals.
• Identify, approach and secure C‑level executives and experts as speakers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision‑makers across global industries.
• Manage the speaker acquisition process from outreach to confirmation.
• Collaborate with production and marketing teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose emerging topics for future conferences.
• Travel internationally to host and manage conferences as required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a client‑facing role such as call centre, conference production, business development or client relations.
• Proven ability to engage senior executives and high‑profile professionals.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong presentation skills.
• Exceptional relationship‑building, networking and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Confident making outbound calls to international clients.
• Fast learner with strong research and analytical abilities.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally for conferences and events.
