Communication & Language Trainer – Learning & Development

About the role

Our client is looking for a Communication & Language Trainer to join their Learning & Development team within a professional services environment. The role focuses on strengthening employees’ English language, communication, and professional workplace skills through structured training, coaching, and continuous development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions on English language, communication, professional writing, and workplace communication.
• Conduct coaching and feedback sessions to support employee improvement.
• Identify learning needs through quality monitoring, feedback, and performance observations.
• Develop training materials, presentations, exercises, manuals and other learning resources.
• Provide training programmes for new hires and existing employees.
• Collaborate with team leaders and department heads to coordinate sessions and achieve learning objectives.
• Monitor employee progress and report on language and communication development.
• Maintain accurate training records, trackers, reports and other L&D documentation.

Required profile

• A recognised qualification in English, Communication, Linguistics, Education, Training or a related field.
• Proven experience in language, communication, English or professional skills training.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging training sessions to diverse groups and adapt content to learner needs.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Good attention to detail when maintaining training records and quality‑related data.
• Proactive approach to identifying training needs and developing practical learning solutions.
