CCTV and Networks Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The CCTV and Networks Senior Project Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position in Colombo. You will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of CCTV and network infrastructure for client projects, ensuring high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Plan system architecture and prepare technical proposals for CCTV and ELV projects.
• Supervise installation, configuration and commissioning of IP cameras, NVRs, switches, routers and related networking equipment.
• Conduct site surveys, troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Document configurations, maintain project records and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors and clients to meet timelines and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience with CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVRs, switches, routers and ELV solutions.
• Strong project management, documentation and communication abilities.
• Professional networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) are a plus.
