Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager

About the role

SriLankan Airlines Ltd, the national carrier of Sri Lanka, is looking for a Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to join its IT Systems team. The role creates and executes a business intelligence strategy that turns the airline into an information-driven organisation, building a management information and analytics solution that spans business verticals and empowers users with self-service BI solutions using big-data processing and predictive analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with business stakeholders to define solid dashboard and reporting requirements that support strategic decisions and operational growth goals.
• Ensure new reports and dashboards meet product and business requirements, deliver business benefits and meet KPI timescales and delivery targets.
• Work with vendors, architects and other IT stakeholders to expand the scope of data and improve technical capability.
• Prioritise requirements so the delivery roadmap gives maximum strategic value, and keep stakeholders informed of issues, developments and improvement recommendations.
• Manage developments in line with industry best practice, balancing stakeholder demand, priorities and expectations.
• Report regularly on the status of business and operations to senior stakeholders.
• Assess staff performance, identify training and development needs and promote organisational productivity and industrial harmony.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, General Science with Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Applied Statistics etc.) with at least 4 years of post-qualifying executive-level experience, including at least 2 years at senior executive level and an industry certification from a professional body on relevant competency.
• OR full professional qualification equivalent to a degree with 5 years' experience, including 2 years at senior executive level in a relevant discipline.
• Sri Lankan citizen; upper age limit of 40 years as of 17 October 2026.
• Fixed-term employment.
