Business Development Manager - Partnership Management

About the role

PFEC Global, an award‑winning international education consultancy, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand and manage its recruitment partner network across Sri Lanka. You will be the main liaison between PFEC Global and its student recruitment partners, driving application volumes and ensuring strong partner performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard and develop new recruitment partners throughout Sri Lanka.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing student recruitment partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between PFEC Global and its partners.
• Negotiate, execute, renew and monitor partner agreements for compliance.
• Drive application volumes and improve conversion rates across the partner network.
• Monitor partner‑wise application pipelines and provide targeted support.
• Conduct regular partner meetings, business reviews, training sessions and on‑ground visits.
• Collaborate with internal Counselling, Admissions, Processing, Marketing and Destination teams.
• Analyse partner performance, identify gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
• Provide market insights on competitor activity, student demand and partner trends.
• Achieve assigned business development, application and enrolment targets.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of experience in the international education consultancy industry.
• Proven track record in business development, recruitment partner management or relationship management.
• Strong understanding of the Sri Lankan international education market and student recruitment ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple partners remotely.
• Willingness to travel across India for partner meetings and business development activities.
