About the role

The Business Development Manager – Engineering Solutions will lead growth initiatives for a multinational client operating in pharmaceutical and FMCG markets. This position blends mechanical engineering expertise with commercial acumen to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted industries and market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or technical sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and capable of working independently.
