Business Development Manager – Education Services

About the role

AECC is a global education consultancy helping international students study overseas. Based in Colombo, we are seeking an experienced and resourceful Business Development Manager to drive growth in existing and new markets, and to support our brand‑building activities across schools and colleges.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and collate data on schools and institutions in the designated region, including Tier 2/3 cities.
• Organise school and college seminars to raise brand awareness about studying abroad.
• Plan and execute education fairs, inviting partner institutions and arranging on‑site branding.
• Support the branch head in BTL activity planning and manage promotional activities during events.
• Coordinate hoarding, flyer distribution, walk‑walkers, tricycles, bus shelters, radio and local newspaper ads, and monitor their performance.
• Send SMS, WhatsApp and email communications to fresh walk‑ins and event participants for recall value.
• Gather IELTS data from exam centres and institutes, and generate daily leads from various sources.
• Manage seminar materials, collect student data, and submit monthly activity reports with proposed plans.
• Distribute flyers in classrooms, laboratories, prestigious clubs and public parks, speaking to students where permitted.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the education sector.
• Resourceful and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
