Business Development Manager – Australian B2B VoIP & Telecommunications

About the role

Webco is seeking a self‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its Australian B2B VoIP and telecommunications portfolio. This remote, full‑time position focuses on generating new opportunities from scratch, building strategic relationships, and converting prospects into recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify Australian businesses that could benefit from VoIP solutions.
• Conduct cold‑calling, cold‑email, and LinkedIn outreach to engage decision‑makers.
• Develop and nurture referral partnerships with MSPs, IT firms, digital agencies, and consultants.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline, report on results, and follow up consistently until outcomes are clear.
• Lead sales conversations, understand customer requirements, and prepare proposals and quotes.
• Close new customers and support onboarding, account configuration, and setup of the VoIP platform.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably with outbound prospecting.
• Comfortable speaking with Australian business owners and decision‑makers.
• Ability to work independently, research prospects, and create opportunities without constant supervision.
• Persistent, organized, and results‑oriented with strong written and spoken English.
• Quick learner of new software and technical products.
