Business Development Executive (Virtual Office Sales)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales of our Virtual Office, meeting rooms, event spaces and coworking solutions at The Executive Centre in Colombo. The role focuses on converting inbound enquiries, managing the full sales cycle and nurturing client relationships to boost retention and new business.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Virtual Office, Meeting Rooms, Event Spaces and Coworking solutions.
• Convert inbound enquiries into new contracts and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process: client meetings, office viewings, proposal preparation and follow‑up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to support renewals and retention.
• Develop business through broker and channel‑partner engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support lead‑generation campaigns.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, update the CRM and track daily KPIs.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused experience in all client interactions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, hospitality, tourism, inbound travel or a similar customer‑facing sales environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven, structured sales environment.
• Age between 23 and 28 years.

Required skills

• CRM (experience updating and maintaining client records).
