Business Development Executive – Uncapped Commission

About the role

We are expanding our Colombo team and seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to drive sales and generate new business opportunities. This full‑time, permanent position is 100% office‑based and focuses on delivering results through proactive client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective clients and generate new sales opportunities.
• Drive leads through the sales process, from initial contact to closing.
• Follow up consistently to keep opportunities moving forward.
• Understand client needs and confidently promote GSM’s services.
• Overcome objections, negotiate and close sales.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and sales activity.

Required profile

• Confident, ambitious and sales‑driven.
• Motivated by targets and uncapped commission.
• Excellent communicator with strong spoken and written English.
• Persuasive and comfortable speaking with prospective clients.
• Proactive, resilient and able to handle objections.
• Hungry to achieve, develop and progress.
• Previous experience in sales, telesales, business development, insurance, tourism or other target‑driven roles is an advantage.
