Business Development Executive – Leasing

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Leasing to drive the growth of our leasing portfolio. Based in Negombo, you will prospect new individual and corporate clients, promote our leasing solutions and work closely with internal teams to deliver proposals and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new leasing customers through market visits and networking.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
• Assess client needs, coordinate credit assessments and prepare leasing proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Achieve sales and revenue targets set for the branch.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies and produce accurate sales reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or marketing within banking, leasing or financial services.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of leasing products, credit processes and basic financial analysis.
• Excellent communication in English and local languages.
• Ability to work on‑site in Negombo and manage frequent field visits.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; professional certifications a plus.
