Business Development Executive

About the role

We are hiring an Executive – Business Development (Facilities Management) to support business growth for a UAE‑based diversified group operating in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on generating leads, building client relationships and converting prospects into facilities‑management contracts. It also offers exposure to regional teams across the UAE and Gulf region, enhancing experience in market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and develop new business leads and customer opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Support sales activities, client meetings, presentations and negotiations.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals and tender submissions.
• Liaise with Operations and internal departments to support bids and client requirements.
• Identify opportunities for new market segments and expansion of existing contracts.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry and competitor activities.
• Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines and business development reports.
• Support the Business Development Manager in achieving revenue and sales targets.
• Assist in developing and implementing Business Development and marketing plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in Business Development or Sales; FM industry experience preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
