Business Development Executive

About the role

Knoweb, a Sri Lankan technology company delivering SaaS platforms and customized software solutions, is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across its Colombo and Galle offices.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads through telemarketing, networking, referrals, and client visits.
• Identify business needs and recommend suitable SaaS or software solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Build and nurture a strong, long‑term customer base.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, IT, or SaaS environments.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and persuasion abilities.
• Capability to understand client problems and propose effective solutions.
• Experience in telemarketing or corporate sales is a plus.
