Brand Executive (FMCG Marketing)

About the role

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing and retail group, is looking for a dynamic Brand Executive to drive the development, management and growth of its consumer food brands. The role combines strategic brand planning with hands‑on execution of marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans for assigned food brands.
• Assist in managing brand positioning, communication and overall brand identity.
• Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions and brand activation activities.
• Conduct market research and monitor consumer trends, competitor activities and market developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver marketing initiatives.
• Develop marketing materials, digital content, promotions and other brand communications.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on brand and marketing activities.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility, consumer engagement and market presence.
• Coordinate with sales and commercial teams to ensure effective execution of brand initiatives.
• Support new product launches, product promotions and brand development activities.
• Assist in managing marketing budgets and ensuring effective utilization of resources.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in branding or marketing, preferably within FMCG or food.
• Hands‑on experience working directly with consumer brands.
• Exposure to multiple food/FMCG brands is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of brand management, marketing campaigns and consumer behavior.
• Experience coordinating with advertising or creative agencies is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project coordination skills.
• Creative, commercially minded and analytical approach.

What we offer

• Salary range LKR 120,000 – 150,000 gross per month.
