Branch Manager – Logistics (Colombo)

About the role

The Branch Manager will own the day‑to‑day operational performance of multiple DEX branches in the Colombo region. You will lead Branch Supervisors, ensure smooth operations, and drive the achievement of regional KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly performance of assigned branches.
• Provide direction and support to Branch Supervisors for efficient branch operations.
• Prepare and present regional performance reports and participate in operational review meetings.
• Cascade management decisions and operational initiatives to branch level.
• Analyze operational data, identify trends and gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent implementation of DEX SOPs, operational controls and compliance requirements.
• Support manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and deployment in coordination with HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in logistics, courier, last‑mile delivery, transportation, warehouse or branch operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple branches or operational locations and large field teams.
• Strong understanding of last‑mile delivery operations and related KPIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for operational reporting and analysis.
