Bowling Community Host

About the role

The Bowling Community Host is a full‑time, on‑site position in Colombo, responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for guests at the bowling venue. You will organize and facilitate events, leagues, and themed nights while promoting Playdium’s offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and run bowling events, leagues and themed nights.
• Promote Playdium’s services and ensure a smooth flow of activities.
• Assist guests on the lanes, follow safety procedures and maintain a clean environment.
• Operate point‑of‑sale and booking systems to manage reservations and sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to host and facilitate group activities in a high‑energy setting.
• Basic knowledge of bowling rules and equipment or willingness to learn quickly.
• Good English communication; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliability, teamwork orientation and openness to feedback.
