Bilingual Content Writer (English & Sinhala)

About the role

Abans Group of Companies is looking for a bilingual Content Writer fluent in English and Sinhala to create compelling digital content for its diverse brands. The role focuses on producing conversion‑driven copy for ads, social media, websites and video scripts that resonate with Sri Lankan audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑impact ad copies for Meta, Google and other digital campaigns.
• Write engaging scripts for video ads, reels and brand promotional videos.
• Create social media posts, captions and campaign messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand objectives.
• Adapt copy for cultural relevance and platform‑specific engagement.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Sinhala and English with strong writing and editing abilities.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in digital content writing, ad copywriting or scriptwriting.
• Ability to produce copy for paid ads, social media, websites and marketing campaigns.
• Good understanding of digital marketing trends and audience engagement.
• Effective time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.
