B2B Growth & Performance Marketer

About the role

We are looking for a B2B Growth & Performance Marketer to build and own the inbound acquisition engine for Capital Placement, a dual‑sided marketplace connecting employers with early‑career talent. You will create the systems, campaigns and automated workflows that bring qualified employer leads directly to the sales team, allowing them to focus on closing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a 30‑day lead‑generation plan and scale it over 6‑12 months.
• Manage paid‑media campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, Meta and other platforms) and allocate budget to the highest‑converting sources.
• Develop email nurture sequences, lead‑scoring models and real‑time automation that route high‑intent leads to sales.
• Build, test and optimise landing pages with A/B testing.
• Implement structured‑data and answer‑engine SEO to make Capital Placement discoverable in AI search tools.
• Track the full funnel from first visit to closed deal and use data to continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with sales to define a “good lead” and refine hand‑off processes.
• Lay the groundwork for a future growth team over the next 6‑12 months.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who creates solutions when none exist.
• 2+ years building inbound marketing engines from scratch in a B2B startup.
• Hands‑on experience with paid ads on Google, LinkedIn and Meta, including retargeting.
• Proficiency with email and marketing‑automation platforms.
• Daily use of sales‑engagement and enrichment tools such as Clay, Apollo or Instantly.
• Comfortable analysing data and building dashboards.
• Extensive experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to automate workflows, generate copy and build landing pages.
