About the role
The Audit Supervisor will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, working remotely on a contract basis. You will review financial statements, supervise fieldwork, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting and audit standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee audit engagements, coordinating schedules and timelines.
- Review and finalize audit reports and financial statements.
- Supervise junior team members and guide their work.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Monitor engagement progress and support continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting standards.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements and audit reports.
- Analytical skills for risk assessment and internal control evaluation.
- Relevant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or similar) preferred.
- Prior supervision experience in external or internal audit.

- Advanced spreadsheet skills.
