Associate Technical Support Specialist

About the role

Milestone Technologies is looking for an Associate Technical Support Specialist to provide entry‑level, onsite IT assistance to end users. You will follow documented procedures and escalation paths while delivering friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide walk‑up and desk‑side support for common hardware and software issues.
• Assist new hires and interns with onboarding of devices and applications.
• Perform basic break‑fix actions such as device swaps, cable replacement, power checks, and printer troubleshooting.
• Support common applications including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Slack.
• Help users with login problems, password resets, and MFA prompts.
• Conduct basic AV and conference‑room equipment checks and report issues.
• Address simple network connectivity problems.
• Escalate incidents when troubleshooting steps are exhausted.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate comfortable following runbooks and documented procedures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Willingness to learn on the job and work collaboratively with senior staff.

Required skills

• Laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and peripheral setup.
• Mobile phone and tablet support.
• Printer troubleshooting (paper jams, toner replacement).
• Google Workspace administration.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Zoom and Slack usage support.
• Password reset and multi‑factor authentication assistance.
• Basic AV equipment operation for conference rooms.
• Fundamental network connectivity troubleshooting.
