Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

GMART ONLINE is seeking a detail‑oriented Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and overall quality of its web, mobile, and desktop applications. You will work closely with development and product teams, applying both manual and automated testing techniques to deliver high‑quality software to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Validate functional, usability, performance, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, sprint activities, and user acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in software quality assurance (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with manual testing and defect reporting.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
