Associate Manager, Financial Accounting & Control

About the role

The Associate Manager, Financial Accounting & Control will join the Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) to own and execute accounting and control activities delegated to LSEG subsidiaries. This position is central to delivering accurate financial reporting, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring resilience across the Group’s finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial accounting and control tasks assigned by the Finance CoE to subsidiaries worldwide.
• Produce timely, accurate financial reports and control deliverables in line with Group standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and business partners to integrate new activities and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage project workstreams related to accounting system enhancements, data migration, and process automation.
• Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Support the development of best‑practice documentation and training materials for subsidiary finance teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting, or control within a large, multinational organization.
• Strong project‑management capabilities with a track record of delivering cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and resilience in a fast‑changing environment.
