Associate Manager, Financial Accounting and Control

About the role

The Associate Manager – Financial Accounting and Control will lead the delivery of financial accounting and control services for LSEG subsidiaries. The role focuses on centralised service management, process improvement, resilience building and onboarding new activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and control services to all LSEG subsidiaries.
• Standardise processes, document procedures and build team resilience.
• Onboard additional scope and align processes to the target operating model.
• Develop training materials and ensure effective new‑joiner onboarding.
• Maintain compliance with LSEG policies, ensure robust financial controls and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Drive efficiency initiatives and support external audit activities, liaising with auditors.
• Partner with Entity Accountants, Financial Controllers, Group Reporting and Statutory Reporting teams.

Required profile

• Professional accounting degree with at least 5 years of general accounting experience.
• Background in finance shared services or similar scope management.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong experience in cross‑geography relationship management.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to work UK business hours.
