Associate Consultant - Business Analysis

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Consultant – Business Analysis to partner with senior stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support delivery of software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to elicit, validate, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Assess current-state processes and design optimized future-state workflows.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and delivery teams to develop business‑driven solution designs.
• Contribute to pre‑sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development.
• Develop comprehensive documentation such as DSRS, BRDs, functional specifications, visual models, and process maps.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Apply analytical techniques and business intelligence to generate actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Define acceptance criteria, facilitate UAT, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards, business requirements, and user expectations.
• Drive adoption of new systems and processes through training, communication, and post‑implementation support.
• Serve as a liaison between business leaders and technical teams to ensure strong alignment and collaboration.
• Provide thought leadership by promoting best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years progressive experience as a Business Analyst in the software or IT domain.
• Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies with hands‑on experience in Agile project delivery.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and solution validation practices.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, IIBA, Agile BA, or equivalent (advantageous).
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive‑level presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, capable of navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consensus‑building capabilities.
• Highly organized, self‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
