Associate Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Business Development Executive to help Code Sage Labs expand its enterprise client base beyond Sri Lanka into international markets. You will own outbound prospecting, qualify inbound leads, and work closely with engineering leadership to turn technical conversations into long‑term engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify enterprise prospects across fintech, SaaS, logistics and healthcare sectors.
• Run outbound campaigns on LinkedIn, email and partner channels and schedule discovery calls for senior team members.
• Manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and contract hand‑off.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to translate client requirements into scoped proposals and statements of work.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, win/loss notes and competitive intelligence for leadership.
• Represent Code Sage Labs at industry events, webinars and partner meetings.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of B2B sales, business development or account management experience, preferably in software services, SaaS or consulting.
• Excellent written and spoken English and confidence on video calls with senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Pipedrive and modern outbound tooling.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to read buying signals.
• Self‑directed, organized and able to run a pipeline without daily supervision.
