Associate Architect

About the role

The Associate Architect is responsible for owning one or more client projects or a large technical domain. This role ensures that all solution extensions follow the architectural guidelines set by the Architecture Review Board while driving technical delivery within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical changes and improvements to enhance client and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior business partners and clients to translate needs into effective technical solutions.
• Validate that all extensions align with organizational architectural principles and raise significant deviations to senior architects or the Architecture Review Board.
• Maintain a maintainable and extensible codebase and overall solution architecture.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and tech leads, and often act as line manager for tech‑lead teams.
• Identify and communicate technical or delivery risks, working closely with quality assurance and delivery management throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of industry experience in software engineering and architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading technical teams or projects.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale C++ systems.
