Assistant Procurement Officer – MEP

About the role

The MEP Assistant Procurement Officer will support the procurement function for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and ELV projects. This role ensures timely acquisition of materials and smooth logistics coordination while maintaining high accuracy in documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on shipping schedules and logistics.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents.
• Attend and oversee inspections during the loading process.
• Coordinate with clearing agents to ensure timely clearance of goods.
• Utilize ERP systems proficiently to manage procurement processes.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all procurement activities.
• Work independently, demonstrating strong self‑motivation and time‑management skills.

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using ERP systems is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in logistics, shipping and procurement of construction material or MEP systems is an advantage.
