About the role
We are seeking a proactive and technical Team Leader – IT Operations to oversee the delivery of IT system operation services across local plant facilities in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and corporate standards. This role focuses on maintaining reliable, secure, and high‑performing IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure while leading a support team, coordinating key stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across IT systems, security, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely response and resolution of IT incidents and service requests in strict alignment with defined SLAs.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, backup systems, and peripheral hardware.
- Oversee installation, configuration, network performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and systems to address risks proactively; conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Ensure compliance with group IT standards, data protection regulations, and security guidelines (ISO 27001/2, NIST); collaborate with regional teams to resolve audit findings.
- Manage IT contracts and service agreements, ensuring vendor performance and SLA compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing IT operations team to achieve operational targets and maintain service excellence.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in IT operations support covering servers, networks, backup management, and OT systems.
- Hands‑on experience with LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux OS, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate), virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST.
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT), IoT, or Machine Learning (ML) systems is an added advantage.
- Strong IT service management knowledge, analytical problem‑solving skills, stakeholder coordination capabilities, and ability to operate under pressure.
