Job description
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT on Financial Services (VAT on FS), APIT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax returns.
- Maintain tax schedules, calculations, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and tax consultants on tax-related matters.
- Facilitate tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
- Ensure all tax payments are made accurately and on time.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or a professional qualification, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in taxation within the banking or finance industry.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws and regulations.
