Assistant Manager – Ship Chandelling

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven professional to join our Colombo team as Assistant Manager – Ship Chandelling. You will be responsible for expanding our ship chandelling portfolio, securing long‑term partnerships, and ensuring seamless end‑to‑end service delivery to vessels calling at Sri Lankan ports.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new customers, markets and revenue opportunities for ship chandelling.
• Build and maintain relationships with ship owners, managers, vessel operators, procurement organisations and suppliers.
• Develop partnerships with international ship chandelling companies and maritime service providers.
• Lead commercial negotiations, prepare quotations and proposals, and manage pricing strategies.
• Manage a reliable supplier network to ensure competitive pricing, quality products and timely delivery.
• Oversee end‑to‑end operations, guaranteeing on‑time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Inchcape’s global network to leverage business opportunities.
• Monitor performance, market trends and supplier effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
