Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Project Management (PMO) in Technology Consulting

About the role

EY Sri Lanka is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive to lead and support business and technology transformation projects across a range of industries. You will work closely with clients, project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, governance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage medium to large‑scale projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting and timeline management.
• Prepare and present project status reports, milestone updates and governance packs to executive stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project‑related matters.
• Identify, assess and proactively manage project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans.
• Support change‑management initiatives and guide clients through technology adoption and business transformation journeys.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Business Information Systems, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering business and technology transformation projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM or Scrum Master are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ERP, digital transformation and enterprise technology solutions.
• Understanding of business process re‑engineering, value‑stream mapping and change‑management methodologies.
