Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a driven Assistant Manager to lead our sales and marketing activities across Sri Lanka, visiting clients and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business by proactively visiting existing and prospective clients island‑wide
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to closing and account management
• Build and nurture strong, long‑term relationships with customers across various sectors
• Plan and execute field‑based marketing initiatives to grow brand presence and market share
• Prepare compelling proposals, sales reports, and sales strategies
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets, and be rewarded for doing so
• Gather market intelligence and share insights that shape our strategy
• Coordinate with internal operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• Fluency in English and Sinhala (written & spoken)
• Proven track record in B2B sales or client‑facing marketing
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field visiting clients
• Own mode of transportation preferred

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
