Assistant Manager – MIS & Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our Management Information Systems (MIS) and Analytics function. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, automated reports and insightful dashboards that support data‑driven decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and automate daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc MIS reports, ensuring timely distribution and standardized formats.
• Analyse business performance trends—including sales, inventory, profitability and operations—conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Design and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards, KPI scorecards and self‑service reporting solutions for all business levels.
• Oversee data governance by validating accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems and supporting master data management.
• Supervise MIS Executives and Data Analysts, set objectives, monitor performance, deliver tool training and foster continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MIS reporting, business analytics and BI development.
• Strong understanding of inventory and supply‑chain analytics, including stock ageing, turnover, demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
• Experience with ERP and SAP reporting environments and a track record of identifying automation opportunities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and leadership skills with the ability to prepare executive summaries and support strategic planning.
