Assistant Manager - Information Systems Audit Specialist

About the role

The role involves conducting comprehensive audits of the bank’s Information Systems operations, policies and procedures, analysing IT processes to ensure reliability and data quality, and identifying risks and control weaknesses. The specialist will assess technology, cloud and cybersecurity risks, provide recommendations for continual improvement, and investigate suspected fraud or security breaches.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in formulation of the internal audit plan and ensure day‑to‑day execution in line with standards and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive audits of the bank’s Information Systems, cybersecurity landscape and cloud security governance to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, including AI impacts, and incorporate threat intelligence into audit planning.
• Prepare and release high‑quality audit reports on schedule and follow up on outstanding items.
• Investigate suspected fraud or security breaches and handle special assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity or a related field, or professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT/IS auditing or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a managerial or executive role.
