Assistant Manager Human Resources

About the role

As an Assistant Manager – HR you will lead and manage the full employee lifecycle for a group of team members, ensuring HR strategies are tightly aligned with business objectives and fostering a productive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support overall business goals.
• Oversee onboarding and all employee lifecycle activities.
• Manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Address employee grievances and support organizational development.
• Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational structure.
• Maintain HR metrics, records, and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision‑making skills.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is preferred.
• Experience in HR functions within the IT industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with change management and strategic HR planning.
