Assistant Manager, HR & Administration

About the role

As the Assistant Manager, HR & Administration you will be the backbone of Cin7’s Colombo office, handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits and employee relations while ensuring compliance with Sri Lankan labour law. You will also oversee office operations, vendor management and employee events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support and project management for the Global HR People Operations team.
• Manage local HR functions: employee relations, payroll, compliance, training, benefits, and off‑boarding.
• Lead talent acquisition activities, including job description finalisation, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, reference checks and vetting.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Stay up‑to‑date on Sri Lankan labour laws and draft employment agreements accordingly.
• Administer benefits enrollment and resolve employee insurance queries.
• Maintain personnel files, employment contracts, timesheets, holidays and leave records.
• Drive the payroll process, ensuring timely timesheet submission and accurate leave reconciliation.
• Oversee office facilities, supplies, IT equipment, vendor contracts and lease negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR and administration functions.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour legislation.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple HR and office operational tasks simultaneously.
